Commander's Vision

	ISAF will continue to manage the resources assigned to this mission by NATO to effectively contribute to the security and stability of Afghanistan and in particular to ensure that, in cooperation with our allies, the Government of of Afghanistan, the Coalition, the Afghan National Army, and the International Community a permissive environment is established for free and fair elections.

Through our efforts in areas such as ISAF expansion into the Provincial Reconstruction Teams, the renovations and operation of the Kabul International Airport (KAIA), and the assistance in improving the capabilities of the Afghan National Army (ANA) and Police Force (ANP), ISAF will continue to assist and support the Government of Afghanistan (GOA) in its efforts to enhance security and peace, and to expand its authority to the whole country.

Our will, professionalism and our determination have prepared us to face all potential challenges and it is my vision that together we can make a significant difference in the lives of the people of Afghanistan who both desire and deserve peace and stability.
